Winery Review: Intense vinous bouquet with a beguiling blackberry and violet notes. On the palate round and robust with hints of wild berries, dark cherry and spice. This Chianti has excellent acidity and a long cherry filled finish.
My Review: I could pick up on hints of cherry, tobacco and oak in this wine. When tasting the wine, it was surprisingly light and had some tannin with a dry, puckery feeling after. Can't forget to mention that it also had quite the spice to it.
With/without food: I tasted this on its own without food.
